Automation Doctor Support

Automation Doctor helps you diagnose Home Assistant automations and make a small, reviewed set of safe repairs. It is a local-first app: your Home Assistant data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to share an export.

Get help

Report a bug or ask a product question through the Automation Doctor support tracker. Include the app version, iOS version, Home Assistant version, and a description of what happened.

Please do not post Home Assistant URLs, access tokens, OAuth credentials, private entity names, raw configuration, or unredacted traces. Use the app's redacted diagnostic export only after reviewing it.

Connection and safety

Automation Doctor connects directly to the Home Assistant server that you choose. The app starts read-only. A repair requires entering repair mode and confirming each change; the app creates a backup and verifies the saved result. Always review a proposed change before approving it.

Remove Ads purchase

Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase that permanently removes banner ads for the Apple Account that purchased it.

Delete local data

To remove local Home Assistant information from a device, open Settings and select Delete all local Home Assistant data. This removes saved credentials, cached configuration and traces, findings, proposals, backups, and local history from that device. This action cannot be undone.

Privacy

Read the Automation Doctor Privacy Policy for details about local storage, Home Assistant connections, advertising, and purchases.

App Review testing

For review, select Explore with a demo home during onboarding to evaluate the app without a Home Assistant account. The StoreKit purchase option appears in Settings → Support Automation Doctor; use the Restore purchases action to re-check a prior entitlement.
